AOI Technician

Nesco Resource is looking for an AOI Technician located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right person.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3PM

Pay: $19/Hour

Position Overview: Program, troubleshoot programming and process boards through the AOI (Automated Optical Inspection).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and troubleshoot programs for the AOI
• Organize workflow through the process.
• Alert production operations of any ongoing defects in products
• Visual inspection of PC boards to confirm acceptable soldering
• Setup and run placement machines as required
• Work within other areas of department when needed

• Technical school or associates degree in electronics or experience in production of printed circuit boards preferred
• Willingness to learn new skills
• CAD/CAM, AutoCAD, or similar computer experience preferred
• Understanding of orientation of parts on PC boards
• Ability to read and interpret a part number
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, Orbotech software experience preferred.
