Looking for a detail-oriented role with a premier electronics manufacturer? Join a leading high-tech assembly team as an AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) Operator / Programmer and make an impact every day. As an AOI Operator / Programmer, you’ll play a key role in supporting quality control for surface-mount printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). You’ll work closely with SMT operators, reflow technicians, and quality managers to develop inspection programs, verify board accuracy, and maintain high IPC quality standards.

What You'll Do
As an AOI Operator/Programmer, you will be responsible for:

• Operating AOI equipment to inspect circuit boards for missing parts, solder defects, and misalignments.
• Building and fine-tuning inspection programs using BOMs, board files, and sample boards.
• Adjusting machine settings to eliminate false calls while catching real defects.
• Recording defect data and reporting quality trends to production leads and quality managers.
• Keeping inspection software updated when board designs or engineering changes occur.
• Performing basic machine cleaning, calibration checks, and simple troubleshooting.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Experience working in an electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly environment required.
• Working knowledge of SMT assembly processes and ability to read assembly guides and BOMs.
• Prior AOI operation or programming experience preferred but not required.
• Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly learn proprietary inspection software.
• Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods, handle fine components, and work under magnification for close-up visual inspections.
