Responsibilities
Operate AOI equipment including downloading and processing data.
Follow all AOI inspection procedures.
Perform First Article and In-process inspections.
Understand set-up and use of Polar Impedance tester (will train if necessary).
Update jobs in tracking system and sign traveler.
Ensure PCBs meet customer and internal documentation requirements.
Understand proper operation and care of equipment.
Notify production supervisor when deliveries cannot be met.
Notify supervisor if any capacity limitations or production bottlenecks arise and recommend solutions.
Coordinate and communicate with production supervisor and other departments to meet production schedule deadlines.
Notify supervisor of any equipment issues or lack of maintenance.
Has authority to stop the process. Notify supervisor immediately to determine if a Corrective Action is needed.
When supplies are needed, fill out and submit a Material Request form to supervisor.
Deduct materials used from the material usage module.
