What Youll Do- Review and conduct initial screenings of Youth Court referrals
- Gather information and conduct preliminary inquiries about youth and family circumstances
- Assist in determining appropriate Youth Court actions
- Communicate effectively with affiants, court staff, law enforcement, and community partners
- Document all contacts, activities, and decisions accurately and timely
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive juvenile and family information
- Maintain court-appropriate records and data management
- Participate in required training, professional development, and quality reviews
- Travel between assigned court locations within multiple counties as required
What You Need- Required:
- Bachelors degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Counseling, Family Studies, or a related field
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Current automobile insurance
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
- Preferred:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information professionally
- Prior experience in social services, behavioral health, or criminal justice preferred but not mandatory
