    Description

    Edison Chouest Offshore is taking applications for a full-time Alaska Native Utilization Agreement (ANUA) Coordinator.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recruitment & Candidate Vetting: Interview, vet, and hire qualified Alaska Native candidates in close coordination with the Recruitment team to meet fleet and operational needs.

    • Talent Pipeline & Candidate Support: Maintain continuous communication with vetted candidates, providing hands-on assistance and guidance as they obtain their Mariner Credentials (TWIC, MMC, MedCert).

    • Relationship & Community Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with local Native Corporations through frequent outreach (daily/weekly) and represent the company at local cultural events and job fairs to support talent sourcing.

    • Workforce Development & Training: Create, track, and update individualized development plans bi-weekly for all hired Alaska Native mariners to support long-term career growth.

    • Rotational Assignment Coordination: Partner with the Crewing department and leadership to coordinate and arrange 6-month Special Assignments in the Gulf of Mexico for candidate exposure and training.

    • Board Representation & Advisory: Serve as an active member of Alyeska’s Native Program Advisory Board, attending monthly/quarterly meetings and contributing strategic insights on behalf of the company.

    • Data Analysis & Trend Reporting: Prepare and deliver clear presentations on Alaska Native hiring metrics, demographic trends, and workforce development data as needed.

    • Compliance & Implementation: Edit, update, and submit the annual ANUA Implementation plan to Alyeska, ensuring all updates are accurately reflected in UNISEA.

    • Sponsorship & Financial Tracking: Request yearly sponsorship funding from Alyeska and Native Corporations; actively manage, track, and report on these funds bi-weekly, coordinating with the Main Office.

    • Travel & Onboarding Assistance: Work directly with Alaska Native hires to utilize sponsorship funding for initial travel to Louisiana and required maritime training courses.

    • Metrics & Hours Tracking: Maintain bi-weekly tracking of Alaska Native development credits (towards ANUA targets) and track hours on TAPS for all Alaska Native employees.

    • Quarterly Regulatory Reporting: Complete and submit the Quarterly Reporting template for ANUA metrics to ensure full compliance and transparency.
