Certification/Licensure required:

• Master's Degree in School Counseling
• Appropriate State of Ohio certifications/license
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate

Preferences:

• Demonstrate a sufficient understanding of effective counseling practices and strong interpersonal communication skills;
• Demonstrate a sufficient knowledge of State testing requirements and be familiar with all related applications and compliance procedures related to elementary level testing;
• Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of courses of study and curriculum guides;
• Familiarity with DASL and Progress Book
• Successful experience in student relations, curriculum and instruction, and community relations in a high school environment.
