district
administrators
to
manage
student
and
staff
data
systems
supporting
scheduling,
recordkeeping,
curriculum,
communications,
personnel,
and
State/Federal
reporting.
Maintains
operational
timelines
and
project
plans
as
directed
by
the
Superintendent.
PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES
I.
System
Administration
&
Integration
Act
as
the
primary
administrator
for
the
Genesis
Student
Information
System
(SIS),
managing
user
accounts,
permissions,
and
text
fields.
Oversee
automated
and
manual
data
synchronization
between
Genesis
and
third-party
platforms
(e.g.,
ClassLink,
One
Roster,
Destiny,
Frontline,
SchoolFi,
Lexia,
Learning
Ally,
OneSync,
SchoolMessenger).
Troubleshoot
ClassLink
AD
Connector,
Roster
Server
Syncs,
and
operational/software
problems;
refer
complex
issues
to
in-district
or
external
technical
support.
Manage
SFTP
and
Employee
Import
Templates
to
sync
demographic
and
HR
data
from
SchoolFi
into
Frontline.
Coordinate
transfers
of
SIS
information
and
electronic
files
between
local
education
agency
(LEA)
databases,
Network
Administration,
and
other
platforms.
II.
State
&
Compliance
Reporting
(NJSLEDS,
Homeroom,
etc.)
Manage
and
execute
NJSLEDS
state
compliance
reporting
requirements.
Submit
routine
snapshots
(SID,
Course
Rosters,
Performance
Reports)
and
major
compliance
submissions
(ASSA,
SSDS,
CRDC).
Collaborate
with
Special
Services
and
Human
Resources
to
resolve
data
errors,
manual
records,
and
state
reporting
accuracy.
Keep
staff
updated
on
changes
to
state
reporting
requirements
and
testing
frameworks.
III.
Student
Registration
&
Scheduling
Manage
the
OpenReg
portal
for
all
enrollments,
Kindergarten
registration,
and
Pre-School
lottery
workflows.
Execute
annual
Genesis
roll-over
processes,
school/grade
assignments,
and
tracking
sheets.
Support
district
office
staff
and
building
principals
with
schedule
setup,
data
workflows,
course
assignments,
and
bus
routes.
Train
and
assist
school
personnel
to
build
self-sufficiency
in
operating
student
data
systems.
IV.
Data
&
Assessment
Management
Import,
export,
and
configure
standardized
and
benchmark
assessment
data
(e.g.,
NJSLA,
DLM,
i-Ready,
DIBELS,
BAS)
in
Genesis.
Configure
gradebook
scoring
access,
administrative
data
views,
and
publish
Independent
Student
Reports
(ISRs)
to
the
Parent
Portal.
Share
data
for
school
needs
(e.g.,
MTSS
documentation,
student
and
community
survey
results,
sports/extracurricular
tracking).
Extract
student
achievement
data,
staff
evaluation
records,
or
negotiation
data
as
requested
by
district
leadership.
V.
End-User
Support
&
Communication
Provide
technical
support
for
the
Genesis
Parent
Portal
(addressing
emergency
contact
updates,
address
changes,
and
legal
uploads).
Support
building
principals
with
specialized
data
extraction
(e.g.,
dismissal
plans).
Provide
end-user
support,
training,
and
troubleshooting
for
coaches,
administrators,
and
office
staff.
Perform
other
related
duties
as
assigned
by
the
Superintendent.
Coordinate
and
execute
district-wide
communications,
emergency
alerts,
and
community
announcements
using
SchoolMessenger;
ensure
contact
lists,
notification
categories,
and
parent
distribution
groups
align
with
active
Genesis
records.
Employment
will
be
dependent
on
successful
completion
of
a
criminal
background
check
as
mandated
by
N.J.S.A.
18A:6-7.1.
Additionally,
and
in
compliance
with
federal
law,
all
persons
hired
will
be
required
to
verify
identity
and
eligibility
to
work
in
the
United
States
and
to
complete
the
required
employment
eligibility
verification
form
upon
hire.
Permanent
teaching
staff
members
are
further
required
to
meet
the
citizenship
standards
set
forth
in
N.J.S.A.
18A:26-1.
