Description
Kforce has a client in Raleigh, NC that is seeking an Ansible for RHEL Senior Consultant with deep experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and infrastructure automation. This role will focus on designing, developing, and implementing Ansible automation solutions to streamline server lifecycle management, including automated server provisioning, configuration management, patching, and decommissioning activities. The consultant will work closely with infrastructure and operations teams to identify automation opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and promote consistent platform standards across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible automation solutions for RHEL environments
- Automate server builds, configuration management, patching, and decommissioning processes
- Create and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows
- Partner with infrastructure teams to identify and implement automation opportunities
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing automation tools and processes
- Document automation standards, procedures, and technical solutions
