How you’ll contribute:

As an Annuity Analyst, you’ll be responsible for reading and understanding specifications of the annuity illustrations platform, writing and executing test plans, and reporting and analyzing discrepancies.

This role contributes to Brighthouse Financial by providing accurate and timely Annuity Illustrations to our Sales Desk partners and Brokerage Firm partners, thereby assisting their Brighthouse Annuity products sales efforts.

 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Research and understand the Annuity illustrations platform.
  • Do daily verification and documentation of system access.
  • Create test plans and matrices that define testing approach, assumptions and expected results.
  • Perform iterative testing, executing the test matrix, recording defects and analyzing discrepancies.
  • Provide weekly project status update reports.
  • Test annuity illustrations against the actuarial data.
  • Review all illustration specifications.
  • Participate in specification walkthroughs.

 

We’re looking for people who have:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills desirable.
  • Knowledge of Excel preferrable.
  • Knowledge of Annuity Products and Insurance Experience preferred.

  • Compensation – Base salary ranging from $60,000 to $70,000 plus competitive performance-based incentives determined by company and individual results.
