Performs animal husbandry and health care in accordance with study protocols, Animal Welfare Act regulations, NIH guidelines, AAALAC accreditation requirements, and Boehringer Ingelheim policies. Responsible for daily animal care, health observations, documentation, facility sanitation, equipment maintenance, animal handling, sample collection, scientific procedures, and assisting with necropsies. Works in a laboratory animal research environment under Biosafety Level 1 and 2 conditions. May provide guidance to junior team members and participate on site committees and workgroups. | |||
