Job Description
We are seeking qualified veterinarians who have graduated from universities accredited by the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) and are interested in starting their career in the U.S. as Veterinary Technicians while they complete the necessary steps to become fully licensed veterinarians.
Note: This position is as an Technician until U.S license is obtained.
Patient Assessment
Conduct initial physical examinations, gather patient history, and monitor vital signs
Collect blood, urine, feces, and other samples for laboratory testing
Prepare animals and equipment for surgery, administer anesthesia, and monitor patients during procedures
Administer medications, including injections and oral medications, as prescribed by the veterinarian
Explain treatment plans, medication instructions, and preventative health measures to pet owners
Front desk duties such as receiving patients, answering and making phone calls
Maintaining patients records
Working Conditions:
Usual work hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Average of 80 to 100 hours per biweekly pay period
Two day off per week
Work locations: various farms in states such as Indiana, Arizona, Tennessee, Illinois, among others
Extreme weather conditions depending on the season (cold in winter and hot in summer)

Requirements
To be eligible for this position, a work visa for the United States is required. Therefore, it is essential to meet the following requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an AVMA-accredited institution
Commitment to completing the NAVLE (North American Veterinary Licensing Examination)
Possess a passport valid for at least 1 year
Have a valid driver’s license

Conditions and Benefits
Compensation and benefits vary depending on your professional experience, English proficiency level, and the state where the clinic is located.
Hourly wage before licensing: between $15.00 and $20.00 USD
