Angel Tree Warehouse Worker (7937)

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

Schedule/Hours: Part-time & Full-time positions available, Monday - Friday and some Saturdays, November through December 2026

This position is responsible for:

Assisting donors when dropping off Angel Tree donations, processing and sorting donations, keeping Christmas warehouse clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assists with the layout and setup of the warehouse.
• Processes incoming Angel Tree donations to ensure they are accounted for and properly assigned.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse. Ensures trash is taken to the dumpster when custodial staff isn't present.
• Assist donors who are dropping off donors and promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
• Assist with unloading trucks with donation deliveries and other necessary supplies.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy objects (10 - 25 lbs).
• Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, and standing.
• Work requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required, and

One year experience working in a warehouse environment OR

Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
