ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Schedule/Hours: Part-time & Full-time positions available, Monday - Friday and some Saturdays, November through December 2026
This position is responsible for:
Assisting donors when dropping off Angel Tree donations, processing and sorting donations, keeping Christmas warehouse clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with the layout and setup of the warehouse.
- Processes incoming Angel Tree donations to ensure they are accounted for and properly assigned.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse. Ensures trash is taken to the dumpster when custodial staff isn't present.
- Assist donors who are dropping off donors and promote a favorable image of The Salvation Army.
- Assist with unloading trucks with donation deliveries and other necessary supplies.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.
- Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy objects (10 - 25 lbs).
- Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, and standing.
- Work requires working in a warehouse environment with exposure to fluctuating temperatures and discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
