Job Summary:

HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is currently seeking a BE/BC Anesthesiologist for our HCA Florida Lake City Hospital in Lake City, FL.  Lake City is located approximately 60 miles from Jacksonville and 40 miles from Gainesville. This newly transitioned program has become part of the growing HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services hospital employed model.

Our ideal candidate will be highly skilled in communication and relationships.  Our 5 physicians sit all their own cases, covering 3 ORs and 2 NORAs.  If you are an anesthesiologist who prefers working on your own rather than supervising, this job is for you.  1-5 years experience required, must be able to work in the US without restriction.

Qualified Candidates/Opportunity Highlights:
  • Model consists of 5 General Anesthesiologists doing solo cases
  • Anesthesia covers 3 ORs plus 2 NORAs (Endo and Cysto) with an annual surgical volume of 2400. 
  • Mix of cases including General, Ortho, GI/Endo, GYN, and some robotics
  • No Trauma. No OB. No Cardiac.
  • Must be Block proficient.
  • Scheduled 40 hours weekly, 7a-3p with weekday beeper call 1:5. Post call day off.
