Description Specialization:AnesthesiologyJob Summary:ANESTHESIA LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital is currently seeking a full-time Medical Director of Anesthesiology to join our vibrant, patient centric, established team in Tampa, FL. The Facility Medical Director will work collaboratively with the Operations team, Hospital Administration and APP leadership to carry out the Group's mission of maintaining a mutually respectful work environment, leading by example and a sharing a genuine love of providing excellent patient care. Ideal candidate will be highly skilled in communication, relationship building, and be able to represent the Anesthesia department as a true partner within the organization. Responsibilities include assuring the highest standards of healthcare delivery and outcomes, employee satisfaction and retention as well as monitoring efficiencies and quality metrics. Previous leadership experience required. Qualified Candidates: Anesthesia Care Team model of 4 Anesthesiologists and 10 CRNAs covering 10 ORs plus Cath Lab, IR and Endo. Supervision of CRNAs 1:4.Diverse mix of highly complex cases General, Bariatric, Ortho/Spine, Vascular, Neuro, GYN, GI, Endo, ENT, Urology. No trauma. No OB. No Peds.Average surgical cases 25/day.Average work week 45 hours M-F. Beeper call shared equitably amongst physicians.Block proficiency required.
