HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is looking for a BE/BC General Anesthesiologist to join the growing team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. The hospital is located in Brooksville, less than an hour north of Tampa and is a welcoming community promoting a relaxed, Florida lifestyle.

For those with a passion for teaching and mentoring, this opportunity is ideal as we welcome our third class of Anesthesiology Residents, for a total compliment of 15 residents. HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital’s Anesthesiology Residency program is an accredited ACGME advanced program. We are part of the HCA Healthcare/University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

Our Anesthesia Program offers a collaborative, learning environment that values mutually respectful communication and a teamwork approach.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Anesthesia Care Team model of 14 Anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs covering 12 sites of Service
• Supervision APP (1:4) Residents (1:2)
• Case mix includes General, Ortho, Cardiothoracic (separate team), Vascular, Urology, OB, GI, Endo. No trauma or Peds
• Average cases per day is 35-40
• Minimum 40-hour work week with "peel-off relief system"
• Late shift 11:45a until relief by call physician
• Only 3 calls required per month, consisting of 16-hour in-house shift with post-call day off 
• GME time given for didactic teaching, mentoring, evaluations, and scholarly activities
