What Youll Do
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and optimization for upcoming surgeries
- Review patient histories and relevant documentation
- Utilize facility protocols for patient assessment and care planning
- Collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Make appropriate referrals and coordinate care
- Document assessments thoroughly within the Epic system
- Support surgical specialties including Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology
What You Need
- Active NY license as a Physician Assistant
- Board certification in PA or equivalent
- BLS, AHA or RQI certifications
- Epic EMR experience
- Minimum of 12 years relevant APP experience in outpatient/preoperative setting
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
Required: NY licensure in hand, CV up to date, no gaps of 30+ days in work history, appropriate certifications, and no restrictions related to malpractice.
Preferred: Prior experience with surgical pre-assessment, strong collaboration skills.
