Our MD-led Care Team Model, robust CRNA and Anesthesia Assistant support, and innovative Night Float system are built around one goal: letting you practice at your best. You'll join a collaborative, W-2 employed group in a growing, well-invested facility - with a clear, defined scope of practice and no unwanted service lines.
Position Highlights
- Specialty: General Anesthesiology with Level II Trauma and Regional Anesthesia
- Practice model: W-2 employment with an MD-led Care Team Model
- Support staff: CRNAs and Anesthesia Assistants; you will spend approximately 30% of your time on your own cases
- Night Float system enables significant, predictable time off
- Defined scope: No chronic pain management, cardiac anesthesia, office-based anesthesiology, or acute pain service
- Facility: 218-bed hospital with 8 ORs, 4 endoscopy rooms, 24-bed ICU, Level III NICU, and a 38-bed ED pursuing Level II Trauma Center designation
- Setting: Growing Far East El Paso campus with $20M in recent facility expansions
