Position Highlights

  • Specialty: Anesthesiology with cardiac case capability
  • Setting: Hospital-based at Sierra Medical Center (Tenet Healthcare / Hospitals of Providence)
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Patient Volume: Average 10 patients per day
  • Call Schedule: 5-6 days per month with a post-call day off
  • Solo Cases: Approximately 10% solo case mix
  • Team Structure: Collaborative physician and CRNA practice model
  • Cardiac Capabilities: Advanced cardiac program including open-heart surgery, bypass, angioplasty, and stent placement

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Cardiac fellowship preferred but not required
