Anesthesia Technician

Understands and practices the importance of proper cleaning and disinfecting of anesthesia equipment; inventory and ordering ability in order to meet supply and demand; some knowledge of anesthesia equipment and medical terminology. Has significant patient contact while assisting in procedures and works collaboratively with the anesthesia team, nursing staff, and off-site resources.

What We're Looking For:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year of Previous experience, preferred.
• Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Understands and practices the importance of proper cleaning and disinfecting of anesthesia equipment; inventory and ordering ability in order to meet supply and demand; some knowledge of anesthesia equipment and medical terminology.

What You'll Do:

• Assists the anesthesia team prior to, during, and after patient procedures in any location anesthesia is provided across Novant Health
• Proficient in sterilization, maintenance, packing, and resupply of the most complex anesthesia supplies and emergency equipment
• Has significant patient contact while assisting in procedures and works collaboratively with the anesthesia team, nursing staff, and off-site resources
