Anesthesia Technician

As theAnesthesia Technician, you will performa wide variety of tasks associated with the operation, maintenance, procurement and administration of anesthesia within the Hospital. Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinates activities related to equipment decontamination and sterilization, to assure an ongoing infection control program. Demonstrates skills/knowledge appropriate to patient age-related categories as defined by LGH neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric Equipment decontamination and sterilization Ensuring availability of supplies and equipment Assisting the anesthetists as needed Requirements: High school diploma required Previous experience in handling anesthesia and/or respiratory therapy equipment and working knowledge of biomedical skills preferred. Training available for the right candidate medical professionals from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
