Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center Department: Operating Room Position is located: Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center Work Type: Full Time Hours Per Week: 36.00 Work Schedule: Variable Salary Range : $19.00 - $26.64 Exempt: No Summary: Assists anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia for surgical and non-surgical procedures. Monitors patient status and provide patient care during surgical treatment. Responsibilities:

• Insures a complete setup for anesthesia services in all anesthetizing locations. • Cleans, disinfects, sterilizes all anesthesia equipment. • Assists anesthesia personnel with preparation/placement of IV fluids, regional anesthesia techniques, physiologic monitoring, airway equipment, and anesthesia machine set up/troubleshooting • Assists with transport of monitored patients. • Seeks opportunities for professional growth and development. • Maintains a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed. • May perform other duties upon request.
