Title: Anesthesia Technician

Location: Downey, CA 90242
Shift: 8E, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (every 3rd weekend required)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours: 40 GWW / 40 expected hours per week
Pay: Local: $47/hr   
         Travel: $2,039/weekly

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team in Downey, CA on a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will provide direct support to the anesthesia care team, ensuring equipment readiness, supply management, and procedural support in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Demonstrated ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of a Certified Anesthesia Technologist, including:

• Preparing, testing, and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices
• Stocking and maintaining anesthesia carts and supplies
• Assisting anesthesia providers during procedures (setup, positioning, equipment operation)
• Performing routine equipment maintenance and calibration
• Following infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols
• Responding to intraoperative equipment needs and emergencies

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Anesthesia Technician role
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• ASATT Certification (Certified Anesthesia Technologist) — required
