Description
Title: Anesthesia Tech
Duration: 13 weeks
Address: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Day Shift 5*8s 40hours/week
Shift: 1:30 PM–10:30 PM
Call/Weekend/Holiday: Required as needed, including callback
Experience: 2 years as an Anesthesia Tech
Certification: BLS required
Preferred: Anesthesia Tech certification and 2- or 4-year college education with related technical training
Responsibilities:
Prepare anesthesia equipment, monitors, medications, and supplies.
Assist with difficult intubations and central line placement.
Operate cell-saver machines and support cardiac, transplant, vascular, thoracic, and trauma surgeries.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment.
Assist with staff training, OR setup, and procedures outside the OR.
Provide on-call coverage and shift supervisor backup.
