Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for an Android Automotive Software Engineer for their Dearborn, MI location.
Requirements:
Android Expertise: Proven experience with the Android Operating System and associated automation tools.
Infotainment Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of automotive infotainment systems, including system integration, connectivity, multimedia, user experience, and feature validation.
ADAS Validation: Hands-on experience testing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) using industry-standard solutions such as IPG CarMaker or dSPACE.
Defect Management: Skilled in triaging, documenting, tracking, and reporting software defects.
Python Development & Coding Experience: Strong Python programming knowledge and hands-on coding experience, including Object-Oriented Programming, scripting, debugging, optimization, and development of automated test utilities.
Automation Frameworks: Ability to execute, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance automated test suites within established test automation frameworks.
Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, GIT version control and SDLC/STLC best practices.
Continuous Improvement: Proactive mindset for identifying, implementing, and measuring improvements to automated testing processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.
10 years of software testing and programming experience, including hands-on Python development and test automation.
Experience with Selenium and/or Appium is highly preferred.
