Functional Anaplan & Oracle EPM Architect
Location - Louisville Kentucky ( Hybrid)
Pay Range :- $60-65/hr
Role Summary
Functional Anaplan & Oracle EPM Architect with strong expertise in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Budgeting, Forecasting, Consolidation, and Reporting to lead solution design, business process transformation, governance, and stakeholder engagement across Finance and Operational Planning functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional solution architecture for Anaplan and Oracle EPM planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and consolidation solutions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable planning and performance management solutions aligned with business objectives and best practices.
- Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and define future-state FP&A and EPM processes.
- Design and govern planning models, business rules, hierarchies, dimensions, allocations, and reporting structures.
- Review and govern solution designs, process flows, model architecture, and end-to-end planning solutions.
- Act as primary liaison between Finance, FP&A, Business stakeholders, and IT teams.
- Define integration requirements and collaborate on integrations with ERP, Data Warehouse, HR, and operational systems.
- Support testing, UAT, deployment, and hypercare activities from a functional standpoint.
- Define and standardize enterprise planning and performance management processes, including:
o Budgeting & Forecasting
o Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
o Long-Range Planning
o Workforce Planning
o Capital Planning
o Financial Consolidation & Close
o Management & Regulatory Reporting
o Scenario Modeling & What-If Analysis
- Drive process Eligible to workimization focused on planning accuracy, forecast reliability, reporting efficiency, and decision support.
Experience
- 5+ years as ERP/EPM/Solution Functional Architect
- 8-12+ years in Finance, FP&A, EPM, or Enterprise Planning solutions
- 5+ years with Anaplan and/or Oracle EPM implementations
- Experience leading planning, consolidation, and finance transformation initiatives
Functional Skills
- Strong expertise in FP&A, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Consolidation, and Enterprise Planning processes
- Experience with Anaplan, Oracle EPM (Planning, FCCS, EDM, ARCS, Narrative Reporting), and management reporting solutions
- Experience in fit-gap analysis, solution design, and governance
- Ability to lead requirements workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Hands-on experience with planning models, business rules, reporting structures, and solution validation
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, scenario planning, consolidations, close processes, KPI management, and executive reporting
