    Description: In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Analytics. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Analytics challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.

    Key Responsibilities
    The role is primarily focused on:
    • Writing, developing, and modifying complex SQL queries
    • Querying data across multiple database environments:
      • Teradata (primary)
      • Oracle
      • SQL Server
    • Analyzing large datasets and understanding database structures, relationships, and business logic
    • Refactoring existing queries and creating new data retrieval solutions
    • Performing ad hoc analysis related to:
      • Customer Risk Models
      • Product Risk Models
      • Country Risk Models
    • Identifying trends, variances, risk impacts, and changes over time
    • Packaging findings into executive-friendly presentations and reports
    • Presenting analysis to business stakeholders and senior leadership

    Must-Have Skills
    1. Advanced SQL querying and development (most critical requirement)
    2. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
    3. Ability to understand complex database structures
    4. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    5. Experience presenting findings to business users and executives

    Nice-to-Have Skills
    • AML (Anti-Money Laundering) or Financial Crimes experience
    • Risk analytics background
    • Power BI or Tableau exposure
    • Python
    • Python experience (helpful but not required)
    • Data visualization experience
    • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
    Team & Work Environment
    • Team size: Approximately 7 members
    • Position is primarily a backfill role, with some additional workload support due to expanding responsibilities.
    • New hires will receive hands-on training and mentoring from experienced team members.
    • Existing query libraries and examples are available to accelerate onboarding.

    Communication & Stakeholder Expectations
    The candidate will:
    • Work directly with stakeholders across multiple teams
    • Interpret business requests and ask clarifying questions
    • Present findings to senior leadership, including:
      • AML leadership
      • Policy leaders
      • Executive stakeholders
    • Translate technical analysis into business-friendly insights

    Typical Work Breakdown
    • Heavy SQL querying and data extraction
    • Analyzing model impacts, customer/product risk changes, and upstream system changes
    • Creating reports, presentations, and executive summaries
    • Mostly ad hoc analysis, with occasional recurring-report requirements gathering for Tableau development teams
