Piper Companies is seeking an Analytical Scientist to support a reputable OTC pharmaceutical company in Miami, FL. The Analytical Scientist will be responsible for performing analytical testing and supporting method validation, transfer, and verification activities in a cGMP laboratory environment.
Responsibilities of the Analytical Scientist:
- Perform testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
- Execute method validation, transfer, and verification protocols
- Operate and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation including HPLC
- Analyze and document results in accordance with cGMP and GDP requirements
- Author technical reports and maintain laboratory documentation
- Support routine laboratory maintenance and compliance activities
Qualifications of the Analytical Scientist:
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
- 1-3 years of pharmaceutical, OTC, or related industry experience
- Hands-on HPLC experience required
- Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and analytical chemistry principles
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Compensation for the Analytical Scientist:
- Pay Rate: $25-31/hr.
- Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
- Onsite in Miami, FL
