Job Description:
Our client is looking for an Analytical Scientist to join the Manufacturing Sciences – Analytical group. The Analytical Scientist will provide analytical support to manufacturing sciences upstream and downstream. The Analytical Scientist will work in collaboration with cross- functional teams for assay transfers, troubleshooting, and establishing assays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
• Provide analytical support for upstream and downstream manufacturing science labs.
• Perform analytical assays for in-process samples in non-GMP environment.
• Maintain electronic lab notebook and report data in a timely manner.
• Work with matrix teams for assay transfer and troubleshooting assays.
• Write documents and reports to present findings in meetings.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with multiple analytical techniques used in biologics characterization, including ELISA, qPCR, or potency assays.
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC and capillary electrophoresis methods, such as titer, SEC, RP, CE-SDS, or iCIEF, is preferred.
• Experience with method transfer, qualification, or validation is a plus.
• Experience with monoclonal antibodies or other protein therapeutics in a mammalian-cell bioprocessing environment is preferred
