Job Overview:
Pay Range: $35.04hr - $40.04hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in a related scientific discipline.
- Experience with analytical size exclusion chromatography (aSEC) and LC-MS.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to learn electronic data management systems and laboratory software tools.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Functions effectively as a team member, demonstrating the behaviors and attributes required to complete interdependent and cross-functional tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Execute routine procedures in an independent and efficient manner related to standard, specialized, and custom reagents, matrices, and reference standards.
- Manage inventory, physical receipt, organized storage, electronic tracking, monitoring, and discrepancy resolution for reagents.
- Manage off-site reagent sample storage and tracking.
- Conduct analytical characterization of critical reagents, including concentration determination, aSEC and/or LC-MS.
- Carry out laboratory safety responsibilities, including inspections of eyewash stations and fire extinguishers within the laboratories.
- Coordinate pipette and balance calibration activities.
- Archive analytical data, reports, and supporting documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Communicate results through reports, presentations, and other Microsoft Office documents.
- Present findings clearly and effectively defend scientific conclusions in team meetings.
- Perform equipment maintenance and freezer management under the direction of management.
- Comply with applicable regulations and perform all work in a safe manner.
- Maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and organizational policies.
