Description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $35.04hr - $40.04hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related scientific discipline.
  • Experience with analytical size exclusion chromatography (aSEC) and LC-MS.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to learn electronic data management systems and laboratory software tools.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Functions effectively as a team member, demonstrating the behaviors and attributes required to complete interdependent and cross-functional tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Execute routine procedures in an independent and efficient manner related to standard, specialized, and custom reagents, matrices, and reference standards.
  • Manage inventory, physical receipt, organized storage, electronic tracking, monitoring, and discrepancy resolution for reagents.
  • Manage off-site reagent sample storage and tracking.
  • Conduct analytical characterization of critical reagents, including concentration determination, aSEC and/or LC-MS.
  • Carry out laboratory safety responsibilities, including inspections of eyewash stations and fire extinguishers within the laboratories.
  • Coordinate pipette and balance calibration activities.
  • Archive analytical data, reports, and supporting documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks.
  • Communicate results through reports, presentations, and other Microsoft Office documents.
  • Present findings clearly and effectively defend scientific conclusions in team meetings.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and freezer management under the direction of management.
  • Comply with applicable regulations and perform all work in a safe manner.
  • Maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and organizational policies.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related scientific discipline with 1-3 years with relevant experience.
