GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Analyst, Supply Chain Strategic Initiatives role supports and drives key company goals such as advancing our Distribution Center (DC) network inbound and outbound production planning processes, DC efficiency improvements, and a wide-array of projects interfacing with multiple parts of the company. This individual will work with Supply Chain leadership, DCs, Transportation, Corporate Planning, Finance, Allocation, and IT. Responsibilities of the position include furthering our DC production planning platforms, managing projects with cross functional impacts, performing business analysis activities, and working with key users in the continual improvements of business processes within the supply chain environment. This individual will utilize critical thinking and analytical prowess to identify and solve problems. In addition, by following data patterns and insights, this individual should recommend ideas to leadership that will ultimately improve supply chain effectiveness and company profitability. Individual will be required to act as a logistics subject matter expert and work efficiently within the organization and guide leadership when questions arise. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.
This role requires regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback. However, this role can perform duties effectively using a combination of in-office and remote work.
