Our client, a Agricultural Machinery Heavy Equipment company, is looking for a Analyst for their Racine, WI/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:- The need is for a detail-oriented, analytical temporary resource to support our semiannual aged receipt write-off process by assessing the risk of vendor invoices received but not yet processed in SAP.
- The objective is to identify potential unrecorded liabilities and reduce the risk of writing off open receipt balances for which an invoice has been received but not recorded in the ERP.
- Data Cleansing and Preparation:
- Review monthly invoice reports from a separate, non-ERP system; resolve data integrity issues, including missing supplier names, duplicate invoice records, and multiple currencies, and standardize invoice values to USD to enable consistent analysis.
- ERP Validation and Reconciliation:
- Validate the cleansed invoice population against SAP to identify invoices subsequently processed or paid, as well as invoices not recorded in the ERP.
- Accrual Assessment:
- Work directly with Accounting, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable teams to determine whether outstanding invoices were subsequently covered by manual journal entry accruals.
- Reporting and Risk Identification:
- Track monthly results, document exceptions and unresolved items, and quantify potential unrecorded liabilities requiring further review before the upcoming December 2026 aged receipt write-off.
- Expected Deliverable
- A validated, reconciled invoice population with documented data adjustments, duplicate resolution, payment and accrual status, and quantified exceptions requiring investigation.
- The analysis should provide management with greater assurance that the December 2026 write-off is supported by a complete assessment of potential liabilities arising from invoices received but not recorded.
- It should also detail impacts at the general ledger level to identify which financial statement line items (e.g. expense or inventory) would be impacted by potential adjustments depending on vendor/purchase type.
