Summary:
Location: Boston, MA or New York, NY
Work Mode: Hybrid, with 2 to 3 days onsite
Duration: Approximately six months, with the possibility of extension
Responsibilities:
Process daily loan servicing activity across the private credit portfolio, including agent notices, rate resets and rollovers, drawdowns and delayed draw activity, paydowns, PIK, and interest and fee accrual review.
Support trade settlement across syndicated and private loan trades, including document review and settlement follow-up.
Process cash, prepare and confirm wires, and investigate cash breaks.
Reconcile positions and cash between internal records, agent and custodian records, and the fund administrator, working with each party to clear differences.
Process lifecycle events, including amendments and corporate actions, and capture changes to loan terms accurately across systems of record.
Handle exceptions and work with the team on resolution, escalating early and documenting clearly what was done and why.
Partner with the offshore support team on reconciliation, cash operations and trade operations queues.
Complete routine reporting and data quality checks on loan and position data.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years in loan operations, loan servicing or middle office operations at an asset manager, alternative investment firm, insurer, bank or fund administrator.
Working knowledge of the syndicated and private loan lifecycle, including agent notice interpretation and rate setting mechanics.
Familiarity with private credit structures, including revolvers and delayed draw facilities and the operational demands they create.
Trade settlement experience under LSTA or LMA documentation.
Reconciliation experience, with a demonstrated ability to research and clear breaks independently.
Comfortable operating within defined controls and evidencing work for audit.
Effective collaborator who communicates clearly with team members, agent banks and the fund administrator, and who asks rather than assumes when something looks wrong.
Strong Excel skills.
Preferred Skills:
WSO experience, or Allvue, eFront or a comparable loan administration platform.
Exposure to IBOR and ABOR environments.
Prior experience covering for a team during a project period, with a fast ramp.
Experience working alongside an offshore delivery team.
Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini in an operations context.
