Skill: Business Analyst (Domain Expert)
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Domain Consultant, or Functional Analyst.
- Strong domain expertise in Banking, Financial Services, Capital Markets, Global Markets, Equities, Fixed Income, Collateral, Risk, or Trade Processing.
- Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Strong understanding of business processes, operational workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience conducting stakeholder workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and business process reviews.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional requirements and user stories.
- Experience creating business requirements documents (BRDs), functional requirements documents (FRDs), process maps, and use cases.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience supporting UAT, defect triage, and production implementation activities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business users, technology teams, project managers, and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
- Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and business documentation.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.
- Support solution design discussions and provide domain expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in UAT planning, test case review, defect validation, and business sign-off activities.
- Track requirements, changes, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout project execution.
- Prepare status reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications.
- Support production releases and post-implementation activities.
- Ensure solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise standards.
Salary Range - $80,000-$90,000 a year
