    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    +       An outcome-oriented, analytical thinker, who can work closely with analytics team to create innovative solutions to deal with uncertain data and ambiguous business challenges

    +       Extrapolates and validates data, produces reports, including the development of professional-level graphs and charts

    +       Recognize trends and patterns in the data and use this knowledge to help draw meaningful conclusions that drive business decisions

    +       Enjoy working with external customers and team members on business problems, developing and maintaining ongoing relationships, and can help identify new opportunities through research and analysis

    +       Thrives in a culture of innovation and never settling with the status quo

    TECHNICAL FUNCTIONS

    +       Solid verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare clear and concise documents

    +       Understanding of analytics and root cause analysis with ability to communicate drivers

    +       Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

    +       Experience with data mining and analytic tools (e.g. Access, SQL, SAS, SPSS, R, etc.)

    +       Experience with relevant business intelligence tools (PowerBI or Tableau) commonly used to organize and visualize large data sets

    +       Familiar with modeling techniques and statistics (e.g. regression, cluster analysis, etc.)

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION

    +       Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field of study (e.g., Analytics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Risk Management, Finance, Business, Computer Science, etc)

    +       Phoenix, Arizona (onsite)
