The Agricultural Labor Relations Board (ALRB) was established in 1975 to bring justice to the fields of California by providing collective bargaining rights to farmworkers-workers who were explicitly excluded from the protections of the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) of 1935. Our mission is rooted in the belief that all agricultural employees deserve the right to organize, advocate for themselves, and work free from interference or coercion.
Headquartered in downtown Sacramento, with regional offices throughout California, the ALRB works to ensure fair and stable labor relations in one of the most vital industries in the state.
