JOB STATUS: Full-time

CLEARANCE: Secret

TRAVEL: As Needed

SALARY: $72,000-75,000

 

 

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst II located at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. Astrion has worked extensively with the U.S. Redstone Test Center where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients.  

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance
  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a technical, science or business discipline from an accredited* college/university and 3 years of  experience in one of the following areas, as related to the respective job required:  Communication, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Personnel/Human Resource Management, Program Management, Process Improvement, Safety, Security, and Environmental specialties; or an Associate's Degree and 5 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; or 7 years of  experience performing the job duties in the assigned specialty area; or 7 years of military training in the assigned specialty area, or a combination thereof.  Additional specialization requirements:
  • Management Analyst – 2 years of the required experience must include experience analyzing financial and other data, gathering and analyzing information regarding systems and/or procedures to provide recommendations for improving efficiency, analyzing and reporting business activity and compiling statistical reports. Must have practical facility management skills (for construction, targetry, and maintenance).

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS 

 

  • This position is responsible for coordinating and ensuring safety oversight during target fabrication, structural maintenance, and the preservation of facility integrity. Additionally, this
  • Daily efforts for this role will entail supervising and collecting data for all targets fabricated at MSE.
  • Financial tracking and operational coordination will be managed utilizing Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint databases.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with management of tactical and strategic communications, marketing, and development of work products. 
  • Project Management knowledge is a prerequisite for this role. 

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Management role with oversight of multiple task orders or a single program and multiple staff members.
  • Responsible for all Project Management activities, including overall assignment of work, management of personnel, quality control, customer satisfaction, and performance tracking and reporting.
  • Responsible for management of resources, risk management, some contract management reporting, and management of task order leads.
  • Interfaces with Government customers, Service vendors, and other agency representatives.
  • Participates in projects from the planning stage, provides additional or missing materials, and edits, organizes, and formats content for clarity, flow, and integrity. 
  • Responsible for assigning, scheduling, and reviewing work.
  • Develops and analyzes monthly reports.
  • Manages the schedule and budget, along with task order period of performance.
