    Primary Purpose:

    The Billing & Payment Analyst ensures all sales and orders are accurately billed and paid, validates that invoices reconcile with balance sheet reports, and continuously identifies process improvement opportunities. This role delivers quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders and operates under regular supervision.

    Primary DutiesandResponsibilities:

      Process daily and weekly data files accurately and by established deadlines

      Deliver timely and accurate weekly payments; proactively identify and resolve discrepancies to prevent payment issues for the external sales team

      Provide exceptional customer service to stakeholders

      Analyze billing and payment data to identify trends, variances, and anomalies, and clearly communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders

      Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance analytical capabilities

      Review financial statements and perform detailed variance analysis of profit and loss reports

      Support the month-end close process in collaboration with the accounting team

      Review contract documents related to the compensation grid to validate that all billing and payment changes are executed accurately and on time

      Collaborate with team members to resolve daily operational challenges, including managing tight and competing deadlines

      Perform weekly and monthly billing reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues

      Maintain strict confidentiality of all financial information

      Other duties as assigned based on departmental needs.

      Comply with all company regulations, policies, procedures, and safety rules

    Demonstrate regular, reliable, and punctual attendance

    Requirements

      Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Math, or related field

      0-2 years of related work experience

      Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

      Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

      Strong attention to detail

      Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

      Ability to maintain confidentiality as appropriate

      Acts decisively to develop a sound plan, and then moves to communicate, implement and monitor it effectively

      Sets high performance standards for self and others; takes ownership and accountability for completing work projects successfully

      Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

      Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to improve workflows and drive efficiency

      Salesforce experience a plus

      Self-starter with high energy who takes initiative with minimal guidance

      Maintains a professional and positive attitude when collaborating with individuals inside and outside the organization

      Growth mindset with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally
