ABOUT THE ROLE

This Officer or AVP-level opportunity sits within the Credit Review function of a well-established global financial institution, offering meaningful exposure to corporate credit analysis, credit review reporting, and portfolio oversight within a collaborative risk team environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare corporate credit review reports including liaison with colleagues across departments to obtain necessary information;research and analyze various data sources to provide context and analytical support
  • Provide credit review opinions by applying credit rating models and methodologies across corporate credit review reports and targeted credit reviews
  • Analyze and verify reports for accuracy;identify and implement remedial actions to ensure data integrity prior to reporting to senior management
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide credit analysis and data as needed across the broader risk function
  • Contribute to oversight reporting including monthly Credit Portfolio Committee packs and other governance deliverables
  • Assess credit risk with third-party vendors;check loan compliance with covenants;update the Credit Review schedule and assist with ad-hoc credit research reports and projects for senior management
  • Maintain and update Credit Review Policies and Procedures
  • Prepare materials and participate in presentation and discussion at monthly branch Credit Portfolio Committee and other meetings as needed
  • Support other team members to cover absences and manage workload requirements;provide Credit Risk Management training to branch trainees and junior staff across departments
  • Stay current on credit risk management industry standards and market developments
