Description

Job Title: Analyst-Business 2
Job Location - Pomona, CA (Hybrid: Onsite every Th, 1 week a month, and as needed. Travel to other SCE sites as required.
Duration - 12 Months

Education Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. An Associate's Degree is also acceptable.

Required Skills/Attributes

  • Mastery of Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to balance multiple calendar demands at one time.
  • Knowledge of basic room AV – Wifi connectivity.
  • Organization of tracking defects, tracking participants, cancellations, room reservations, ordering, and budget spend tracking.
  • Ability to make presentations, focus on safety, and provide proactive ideas to manage and organize space.
  • Ability to quickly re-prioritize work while handling multiple simultaneous requests.
  • Focus on high-quality deliverables on-time.
  • Strong oral and written communications with all levels of employees and management.
  • Ability to manage small projects autonomously.
  • Expertise in tracking and reporting tools: minimum of advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint skills, as well as Outlook.

Desired Skills/Attributes

  • Preferred knowledge of Client facilities and working with hotels or events centers.
  • Familiarity with Client work locations, policy, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve audio-visual issues related to virtual and in-person meetings.
  • Expertise with Power BI or similar dashboard tools.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to create and maintain project plans, project status reports, and executive summaries.
  • Ability to create and manage calendars, schedules, and reports.
  • Ability to track participation.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple meetings and logistics.
  • Ability to present complex information to a large audience at the appropriate level of detail.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload

  • Provide scheduling support for User Acceptance Testing for NextGen ERP, including reserving rooms, sending invites, configuring rooms, ordering food and beverages, providing onsite support to testing, logging defects, and taking direction from testing leads.
  • Provide facility and logistical support and tracking support when testing is not happening.
  • Help coordinate and plan events and large meetings for team health and development activities, ranging from lunch and learns to major all-hands meetings.
  • Schedule management across multiple teams and disciplines in multiple calendars.
  • Document management (develop, store, update).
  • Track attendance and report statistics.
  • Special projects as assigned by Advisors, Sr. Advisors, and Sr. Project Managers.
  • Develop communications.
  • Document test defects.
  • Validate program documentation based on quality standards.
  • Develop processes and procedures.
  • Teamwork and collaboration with a cross-functional team of technical experts.
  • Facility coordination, food, and beverage logistics.
  • Coordinate with senior-level management.
  • Provide support as needed to set up meetings, order food, order equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain an inventory of facility issues, report issues to the correct party, and track resolution.

Responsibilities

The candidate must possess the demonstrated ability to perform moderately complex quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, analyze, and draw conclusions on data and information. The candidate will possess three to five years of experience in the field of analysis. Responsible for developing strategies that support business needs for efficient and effective use of best practices.

  • Identify requirements, approach, solutions, costs, risks, and options to address business needs.
  • Lead implementation activities of an initiative, application, or feature set.
  • Responsible for project documentation including definition, requirements, conversion, testing, implementation, and training.
  • Able to prioritize initiatives by assessing business value for effort and develop options.
  • Collaborate with vendors to understand product direction, release strategy, and timeframe.
  • Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products.
