    How you''ll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

    As an Analyst in Network Scheduling, you will have the opportunity to build the schedule that Delta flies. You will balance tradeoffs between Commercial and Operational constraints to optimally deploy Delta's airplane assets to maximize the profitability of the company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordination of the design and development of Delta''s domestic flight schedule
    • Collaborate with the Route Planning team to achieve commercial objectives while working in the confines of limited fleet, crew, and station resources
    • Identify opportunities and omissions in the schedule and recommend courses of action
    • Ensure bank connectivity, optimal patterns, curfew and slot compliance, hub gating, and maintenance compliance
    • Feel comfortable with ambiguity, understanding what tradeoffs to make and when to make them
    • Collaborate effectively across Network Planning organization

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    • Strong analytical and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

    • High attention to detail

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Effective collaborator with the ability to excel in a fast-paced and time-sensitive work setting

    • Results oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines with attention to detail and follow through

    • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

    • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

    • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

    • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

    What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

    • 2 years work experience at an airline or in logistics, operations, or consulting
    • Airline experience and knowledge of the industry, particularly knowledge of Delta's network and the Domestic competitive landscape
    • Experience using and working in a Network Scheduling software, such as Sabre AirVision or similar
    • BA/BS in Aviation Management, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Business, Management or related field
