Job Description Summary
Join our team as a Committed Contract & Compliance Consultant in Customer Contract Administration, where your work will contribute to advancing the world of health. As part of one of the largest global medical technology companies, you will help turn transformative solutions into possibilities.
Job Overview
Team members will be based in our San Diego, CA office, working a minimum of 4 days per week (Currently M, T, W, and TH in office). This role reports directly to the Contracts & Compliance Manager –MMS Dispensing Capital Contracting. We are seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, with strong analytical, organizational, and data entry skills, and who thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Responsibilities include:
  • Interacting and proactively communicating with multiple MMS Dispensing teams
  • Conducting audit reviews of all components submitted as a complete contractual package
  • Executing complete contractual packages
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, policies, procedures, and purchase acquisition/marketing programs
  • Possessing a working knowledge of US Antitrust laws, HIPAA laws, Sarbanes Oxley rules, Internal Audit procedures, and regulatory controls
  • Understanding both pre- and post-signature capital contracting processes including acceptance and performance, product installation, billing/revenue management, leasing and purchasing, and asset management
  • Having a general understanding of capital equipment revenue recognition guidelines and accounting principles
  • Understanding contract review, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance, including evaluating and enforcing pre-execution requirements and escalating when necessary
Requirements:
  • AA or Bachelor's degree preferred (relevant experience may substitute for educational requirement)
  • 1-3 years of general contract experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and Customer Relationship Management software (e.G., MS Teams, Excel, SharePoint, Salesforce, and SAP)
  • Strong organizational skills (must be highly organized and detail-oriented)
  • Excellent communication skills, including exemplary customer service practices
  • The ability to communicate successfully at all business levels
  • The ability to manage complex tasks and make independent recommendations
  • A general understanding of a commercial contracting process, including contract strategy development, pricing, billing, invoicing, product technology, quoting, and policy development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
