We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality control operations within a high-volume print and mail production environment.
This position is responsible for inspecting and sampling completed work, verifying that materials meet established quality standards, documenting inspection results, entering information into internal systems, and working closely with the Quality Control team to meet accuracy and productivity goals.
The ideal candidate has previous quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, or production experience and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Perform quality inspections and sampling of print and mail production work.
Verify completed materials meet established quality and accuracy standards.
Identify errors, defects, inconsistencies, and other quality issues.
Enter information from inspected materials into internal databases and systems.
Track, document, and report quality and production data.
Work closely with the Quality Control team to meet productivity and quality targets.
Apply basic math and problem-solving skills when reviewing production materials and data.
Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple tasks.
Communicate quality concerns and discrepancies to appropriate team members.
Follow established quality assurance and production procedures.
Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Previous quality inspection or quality control experience.
Previous manufacturing or production experience; experience may include food production or similar high-volume environments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Basic computer proficiency.
Experience with Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Dependable attendance and ability to work the full 2nd-shift schedule.
Candidates must be available to work 2:00 PM–10:30 PM and be willing to work occasional overtime, typically 1–3 times per month, when needed to meet project deadlines.
Candidates must also be available to work federal bank holidays when required.
