We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality monitoring and continuous improvement activities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, this position conducts quality reviews across multiple functional areas, evaluates work for accuracy and compliance, documents assessment results, identifies trends and recurring issues, and helps improve quality processes.
The ideal candidate has previous experience in quality assurance, quality monitoring, auditing, compliance, healthcare operations, government services, or similar administrative environments and possesses strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience supporting government services, healthcare, Medicaid, or CHIP programs is highly desirable.
Conduct objective and accurate quality reviews across multiple functional areas.
Learn and understand operational processes in order to evaluate work against established quality standards.
Document quality findings clearly and concisely.
Maintain established quality and productivity standards.
Enter and maintain assessment information within a quality monitoring data-management system.
Track quality assessments requiring corrections and follow up to ensure completion.
Identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Assist with implementing and maintaining quality processes, controls, practices, and measurements.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across operational teams.
Maintain a strong understanding of program procedures and functional areas.
Serve as a resource regarding quality standards, processes, and program requirements.
Perform administrative duties supporting Quality Team objectives.
Collaborate with other departments as needed.
Maintain confidentiality regarding quality assessments and sensitive information.
Previous quality assurance, quality monitoring, auditing, compliance, or related experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

College degree preferred.
Previous experience supporting government services or programs.
Health and human services experience.
Public-sector healthcare experience.
Medicaid and/or CHIP experience.
Previous quality review or quality assessment experience.
Experience identifying trends and recommending process improvements.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
This position is primarily performed in an office environment and requires extensive review, documentation, computer use, and attention to detail.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where processes and guidelines may change. Some overtime, evening, or weekend hours may occasionally be required.
