About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced AMC Math Instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in competitive mathematics and a proven ability to prepare students for high-level math contests, including AMC 8, AMC 10, AMC 12, and AIME.
Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is strongly preferred, as many of our students are bilingual learners.Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that build problem-solving and analytical skills aligned with AMC standards.
- Provide targeted instruction and feedback to help students improve contest performance.
- Create practice problems, quizzes, and review materials for AMC and AIME preparation.
- Track student progress and adjust teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with the academic coordination team to develop curriculum materials and enrichment content.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Applied Math, or a related STEM field.
- 2+ years of teaching or tutoring experience, preferably with middle or high school students.
- Deep familiarity with AMC-style problem solving and mathematical reasoning.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Bilingual proficiency (Mandarin & English) preferred but not required.
- Passion for inspiring students to enjoy mathematics and develop competition-level skills.
