We wish you every success in your new role.ABOUT THE POSITIONGathr Outdoors is seeking a results-driven Amazon Business Operations Manager to lead the execution, performance, and growth of our Amazon business across multiple brands and product categories.Reporting to the Director, Digital Operations, this individual will own key operational and commercial activities that drive Amazon channel success, including sales performance, inventory health, promotional planning, item lifecycle management, content readiness, and cross-functional execution.Acting as the central point of coordination for Amazon, this leader partners closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, Master Data, Finance, Creative, and external agency partners to ensure operational excellence while maximizing revenue, profitability, and customer experience.This role requires strong analytical capabilities, financial acumen, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to manage complex business processes in a fast-paced ecommerce environment. essential job functions Amazon Business Management & Channel PerformanceOwn day-to-day business operations for Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central accounts across Gathr Outdoor brands.Monitor and analyze sales, profitability, inventory levels, Buy Box performance, traffic, conversion, and customer experience metrics.Identify risks and opportunities through business reporting and recommend actions to improve revenue, margin, and operational efficiency.Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews to communicate channel performance and strategic priorities.Serve as the primary internal expert on Amazon programs, policies, and operational best practices.  Inventory, Forecasting & Supply Chain CoordinationPartner with Demand Planning and Supply Chain teams to maintain healthy inventory levels and maximize in-stock performance.Monitor inventory of health, forecast demand trends, and identify potential supply constraints, overstocks, or out-of-stock risks.Support Amazon replenishment processes and inventory planning activities to improve product availability and customer service levels.Collaborate with Amazon account managers and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues affecting fulfillment, availability, and inventory flow.Track and manage product lifecycle activities including launches, transitions, discontinuations, and inventory recovery initiatives.  Promotional & Commercial ExecutionCoordinate Amazon promotional activities including deals, coupons, Prime events, seasonal campaigns, and merchandising opportunities.Partner with Marketing and agency teams to align advertising, promotional, and content strategies with business objectives.Ensure promotional plans are executed accurately and effectively, measuring performance and implementing optimization opportunities.Support annual planning, forecasting, budget management, and revenue growth initiatives.Analyze category trends, competitive activity, and market performance to inform strategic decisions. Cross-Functional Operations & Process ImprovementLead cross-functional coordination among Sales, Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, Creative, Finance, and Customer Service teams.Establish scalable business processes that improve execution, reporting accuracy, and organizational visibility.Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of operational issues impacting sales, profitability, customer experience, or compliance.Maintain dashboards and reporting tools that support informed decision-making across leadership teams.Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and continuously improve Amazon-related business processes.  Product Launch & Marketplace ReadinessLead operational readiness for new product launches on Amazon, ensuring inventory, content, pricing, and promotional plans are aligned.Coordinate launch timelines and deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.Monitor launch performance and drive corrective actions as needed to achieve sales and availability objectives.Ensure all products meet Amazon compliance requirements and marketplace standards.  Qualifications / Requirements5+ years of experience in Amazon ecommerce, marketplace operations, account management, or digital business management.Extensive experience with Amazon Vendor Central and/or Seller Central platforms.Strong understanding of Amazon operational metrics, inventory management, forecasting, replenishment, and promotional planning.Demonstrated success driving business performance through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.Strong analytical and financial acumen, including proficiency in sales reporting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.Experience with ecommerce analytics tools, retail media platforms, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting solutions preferred.Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Bachelor's degree required. Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is a strategic operator with a strong commercial mindset and deep Amazon
