Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Amada punch presses to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on punch press equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience operating Amada punch presses or similar machinery.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and metal fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
