Hilton Garden Inn Dallas/Addison AM Breakfast Server Responsibilities of Servers: - Maintain menu knowledge and give recommendations from our compilation of cuisine.
- Submit guest menu selections and present these food and beverage preferences to the guest.
- Maintains an awareness of food and product information.
- Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintains proper cash accountabilities at the POS system.
- Other duties include general restaurant preparation and maintaining a sanitary environment.
- Communicates customer requests to co-workers and/or management in a prompt, efficient manner where needed.
- Cooperates and interacts with colleagues in a positive, respectful manner and with a team approach, offering to assist as needed in order to ensure customer service.
- Reports to work on time and as assigned per the schedule on a regular, consistent basis.
Qualifications & Requirements of Servers: - A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for restaurants and customer service.
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Well-groomed appearance.
- At least 1+ years experience as a server.
- Experience with POS systems
- Full service hotel experience preferred but not required.
- Current and update food handlers and TABC certification.
- Ability to assist with breakfast buffet set up/break down and cook to order options
- Ability to anticipate and understand guests' needs, focus attention on service details and work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 8 hours in length.
- Must be able to lift/push/pull moderate weight.
- Must have 6AM shift availability as well as flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Perform any other duties as requested or assigned by management. $16.00 per hour plus tips
