Job Summary

The Alys Shoppe Assistant Retail Store Manager plays a vital role in supporting store operations within a luxury resort environment, ensuring an elevated and memorable shopping experience for guests and residents. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, uphold premium brand standards, and lead a high-performing team dedicated to exceptional service and attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a polished, guest-ready environment
• Deliver and model exceptional, personalized customer service aligned with luxury hospitality standards
• Lead, motivate, and coach team members to exceed sales goals and create memorable guest experiences
• Act as Manager-on-Duty, making decisions that reflect the brand's commitment to excellence in the Store Manager's absence
• Build strong relationships with resort guests, homeowners, and repeat clientele
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training focused on service excellence and product knowledge
• Maintain impeccable visual merchandising standards that reflect a refined, luxury aesthetic
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate restocking, and ensure accurate inventory control while minimizing shrink
• Analyze sales performance and collaborate on strategies to maximize revenue and enhance guest engagement
• Ensure compliance with company policies, resort guidelines, and loss-prevention procedures

Job Requirements

• Proven leadership experience with a focus on coaching and team development
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional presence
• Passion for delivering elevated, guest-centric service experiences
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-driven setting
• Proficiency with POS systems and retail performance metrics
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays in alignment with resort operations
