Job Summary

We are always actively seeking qualified funeral service professionals for roles including Funeral Directors, Embalmers, Crematory Operators, Funeral Arrangers, and other funeral services positions. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate guidance and support to grieving families during their time of need
  • Coordinate and execute funeral services, memorial services, and related ceremonies with attention to detail
  • Maintain professional relationships with families, clergy, cemeteries, and community partners
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing funeral service operations
  • Manage administrative duties including contracts, permits, and documentation accurately
  • Operate and maintain funeral home equipment and facilities to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service experiences
  • Participate in community outreach and pre-need planning initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Valid state license or certification in relevant funeral services discipline (Funeral Director, Embalmer, Crematory Operator, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mortuary Science preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact sensitively with grieving families
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift and move deceased individuals and funeral equipment safely
  • Valid driver's license
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in funeral services, healthcare, or customer service roles
  • Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse community populations
  • Experience with funeral home management software and technology
  • Additional certifications in grief counseling or related fields
  • Knowledge of various cultural and religious funeral traditions
  • Leadership experience or supervisory background

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in embalming techniques and preservation methods (for Embalmer positions)
  • Knowledge of crematory operations and safety protocols (for Crematory Operator positions)
  • Familiarity with funeral arrangement software and point-of-sale systems
  • Understanding of cemetery regulations and burial procedures
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing funeral services
  • Ability to operate funeral vehicles and transportation equipment
